Count yourself in

Work at one of the companies on the Index? Tell us you're there.

What this is. The Index rates big employers on how likely jobs are to go. Next to each company we show a number: how many people who work there are watching. That number is the first thing a company can't spin, and it's how we know where to look harder.

What you do. Type in your work email. That's it. Nothing to download, nothing to join, no password.

What we keep. Not your email, and not your name. We keep a scrambled version of the part after the @ — enough to know which company, not who. We can't email you, and neither can anyone else. There is no list.

What happens next. Your company's number goes up by one. Later, once enough people at your company have counted in, we'll ask one question a week — what's happening where you are? — answered with a tap. We publish the totals, never anyone's words, and never for a company where so few people have answered that someone could be picked out.

Counting opens with the first issue — Friday 30 October.

Work addresses only (no Gmail, Outlook or similar), because the point is to know which company. If you'd rather not, you can still read everything here for free.
