Is my career actually on track?

You are busy. Things feel fine. But are they? Every month, Talent Risk checks your market value, your employer's health, your industry trends, and gives you a clear score out of 100. Think of it as an MOT for your career.

How it works

1

Set up once

Tell us your role, employer, and industry during onboarding. Takes about 2 minutes.

2

Monthly intelligence

On the first of every month, we run a full analysis and email you the results.

3

Stay ahead

If your salary drifts below market, your employer shows warning signs, or your industry shifts — you'll know before it's a crisis.

What we monitor

Salary drift

Has your pay fallen behind the market? We track the gap between your salary and the current median for your role and metro area.

Employer health

Financial stability, recent news, layoff signals, Glassdoor trends — we monitor the public signals so you don't have to.

Industry trends

Is your industry growing, flat, or contracting? We track hiring volume, job posting trends, and sector outlook.

Role demand

Is demand for your specific role rising or falling? We track job posting volume for your occupation code.

Career health score

A single number (0-100) that summarises your overall career risk. Easy to understand at a glance.

Alerts & recommendations

If something changes significantly, we highlight it clearly and suggest what you should do.

Frequently asked questions

What triggers an alert?

Significant salary drift (your pay drops below the 25th percentile), employer financial red flags (profit warnings, major layoffs), or role demand decline. We don't cry wolf — alerts mean something.

Is this fully automatic?

Yes. Once you're set up, your update runs automatically every month. You don't need to do anything.

Can I check more than once a month?

The update runs monthly on a schedule, but you can view your latest results anytime in your dashboard.

What data do you use?

Official BLS salary data, SEC filings, job posting volume from major job boards, financial news aggregation, and industry reports.

Don't wait until it's too late

Most people find out their job is at risk after it's already gone. Talent Risk keeps you informed, every month.
